We're here when you need us
PureBit is built by a small team. Emails get read by a person, usually within a day.
Bug reports, feature requests, refund inquiries, technical questions about Hi-Res playback or DSP — all welcome.
Common questions
Why doesn't my file play at its native sample rate?
Open the Signal Path view (tap the rate badge on the Now Playing screen). You'll see the source rate, the active DSP nodes, and the rate going to the output. If a DSP node is forcing resampling, you can disable it or change its target rate in the Audio Lab. iOS itself can also override the output rate when the audio session is shared with another app — closing background audio apps usually resolves this.
How do I redeem a Pro promo code?
Open the App Store on your iPhone, tap your account icon (top right), tap Redeem Gift Card or Code, then paste the code we sent you. PureBit will detect the unlock automatically the next time it's opened.
I bought Pro on another device. How do I restore it?
Settings → PureBit Pro → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.
How does AutoEq integration work?
The AutoEq community (github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq) publishes measured target curves for thousands of headphones. PureBit pulls the FixedBandEQ profile for the model you select and converts it directly into the 10-band parametric EQ. No account required, no data sent — just a one-way fetch from the public repo.
What audio formats does PureBit support?
FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, WAV, MP3, AAC, and DSD. PCM playback up to 32-bit / 384 kHz on hardware that supports it. The Signal Path view always shows the actual rate and bit depth in use.
Cloud streaming is buffering or failing.
Check that the cloud account (Google Drive or OneDrive) is still authorized — reconnect from Settings if needed. Large Hi-Res files benefit from offline downloads (Pro feature), which avoid streaming entirely.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email dvhhoang@gmail.com with as much detail as you can — your device model, iOS version, file format, and what you were doing when it happened. Crash logs from Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements are very helpful too.
